Workshop
Background
HRM Learning & Development offers a range of training, courses and professional career guidance services. A career in academia is not for everyone, so it is important to start thinking about next steps in your career in good time. Currently, early career researchers are able to request a consultation session with career coaches, use the online Career Platform or participate in the courses Job Orientation and/or Job Search skills. In addition to these services, we will start a pilot with workshops for postdocs on career planning in collaboration with LUPA (Leiden University Postdoc Assembly).
Explore! Career Opportunities Beyond Academia
On Thursday 30 September from 15.00 – 17.00 hours we organize an online workshop. The workshop aims to get you started & inspired on career possibilities. We start with a workshop to gain insight in your talents, transferable skills, values & drives. Then we make a translation to possible and matching jobs and industries. In addition, we invite alumni from different fields of expertise who will share their careersteps and choices.

- You can register for this workshop using the registration buttons on the right side of this page. Please note the difference between Staff (employee of Leiden University) and Extern/LUmc (e.g. extern, self-funded researchers or employee at LUmc);
- Available slots are limited to 24 to ensure an active workshop. If there is a lot of interest, we will organize this workshop more often;
- Before the start of the workshop, you will receive a link for the online meeting at the email address you use for registration;
- The workshop is free of charge for Post-Docs;
