This seminar thought by FGGA Ethics committee members first covers the background and a review of the important professional moral standards, the code of conduct for academic research and their underlying principles. Furthermore, it discusses what Responsible Research Practices consists of and what is defined as research misconduct Many examples and real cases are discussed as well as the main principles for various typical research issues you may encounter. The seminar ends with a dilemma game that really makes one think about hypothetical situations that may come close to situations during research.
