When participants are involved in your research you must think about informed consent. What is it, why is it difficult to obtain and how can you improve it? Informed consent aims to ensure that participants understand what they agree to participate in and give valid consent.

This seminar thought by FGGA Ethics committee members covers the purpose, pitfalls, and best practices of informed consent. The main conditions of informed consent will be discussed. As well as best practices regarding the informed consent and examples of consent forms.
This seminar includes a reading list for self-study.
