Publications in print
University magazine Leidraad
Three times a year, staff members, alumni and external contacts receive the University magazine Leidraad. Leidraad can also be downloaded from the alumni website.
Annual publications for general audiences
Every year we publish brochures such as ‘About us’ (facts and figures) and ‘Impressions’ (an overview of the year in photographs). These can be downloaded or ordered via the website.
University weekly Mare
Mare is the information and opinion magazine of Leiden University. Every week Mare reports in journalistic style on developments within the University and in the field of higher education and academic research. The editorial team is independent and consists of professional journalists. The editorial policy is marginally tested retroactively by the editorial council, consisting of representatives of the University community. This is done on the basis of an editorial statute listing the magazine’s objectives.
You can also read Mare online.
Events
The events pages list all PhD defences, inaugural lectures, lectures, conferences and other (publicly accessible) Leiden University activities.
