Printing and copying
You can copy and print throughout the university on our multifunctional devices. To do so, you will need a LU-Card.
Printing from a university desktop or laptop
- Send a print job from the PC.
- Go to a multifunctional device and log in with your LU-Card or by manually entering your account details in the display.
- Select the document you want to print.
Printing from a personal laptop, tablet, phone, etc.
- Choose your system in the table below and install the PaperCut app.
- Read the instructions for your system (see table).
- Choose the document you want to print. You will now be able to select the ‘LU card printer’.

No printing via USB
For security reasons, it is no longer possible to print via the USB ports on the printers.

For large printing or copying jobs, you can also use Leiden University’s Graphic Centre (grafischcentrum@ufb.leidenuniv.nl).
Problems with printing or copying
If you are having problems printing or copying with your LU-Card, please use the print problem report form.
Report failure
In addition to the support form for printing and copying, you may also report printer issues to the Service Desk (e-mail: ServicedeskWSD@ufb.leidenuniv.nl). Don't forget to include the machine number of the printer.
