Faculty Club
The Faculty Club is a meeting place for the University community, where you can enjoy a drink or an (in)formal lunch or dinner. It is also a great location for meetings, receptions, buffets and dinners.
The Faculty Club is situated in the Academy Building, the former chapel of the Convent of the White Nuns, which has been the University’s main building since 1581. The Faculty Club is only open to people who are connected to the University.
Brasserie and restaurant
The Faculty Club has a brasserie and a restaurant. The brasserie offers a flexible layout of chairs and tables, and comfortable bar stools at the bar. You can enjoy an à la carte lunch or dinner, or meet people for drinks. The brasserie is open all day, from morning to evening, for a latte macchiato, a mozzarella sandwich or a beer.
The restaurant is ideal for a stylish lunch or dinner on Rapenburg with its historical ambience. You can also hold a reception, buffet or dinner in the restaurant. If you wish to organise lunch, drinks or dinner for a larger group, you should make a reservation in advance. It is also possible to arrange private lunches or dinners in the Faculty Club.
The menu
The restaurant’s à la carte menu changes every two weeks, with a selection of seasonal products: asparagus in spring, strawberries in summer, mussels during their season. The menu is adjusted accordingly. The Faculty Club works as far as possible with sustainable, artisan and organic products.
