Tell us about your experience: employee survey starts on 6 May 2025

How satisfied are you with your working conditions? What about your development opportunities? How is your work-life balance? Do you enjoy working with your team? You can indicate this and more in the work experience survey. And this is in an impactful time: due to the government cutbacks, the university has to take drastic measures. This may also affect your work experience.

The Employee Experience Survey is the successor to the Personnel Monitor and will be held every two years. The survey is in collaboration with our partner Welliba. Welliba will send you an invitation to take the survey on Tuesday 6 May and you have until 20 May to do so.

Why should you take the survey?

Personal dashboard

The questionnaire will get you thinking about the past and will also deliver insights for the future: What affects your job satisfaction and well-being? Having completed the questionnaire, you will have access to a personal dashboard with your results and practical tips.

Prize for highest response

The two teams with the highest responses will win a voucher for lunch or drinks together at one of our catering outlets. To give everyone a fair chance, we are distinguishing between teams of up to 10 staff and more than 10 staff.

Joint reflection

It’s not just about completing the questionnaire, though. It’s also a chance to discuss how things are going with your colleagues and manager. The results can help you get a conversation going.

How will the organisation benefit?

The results will help us take targeted steps to create a positive working environment. For example, we have taken measures to reduce the workload and create a safe environment since the 2022 Personnel Monitor. We also have to give the Netherlands Labour Authority a representative picture of these two topics, and to do so need a minimum response of 50% in all organisational units. 

Guaranteed anonymity and privacy

Welliba, an independent organisation specialising in employee questionnaires, is conducting this survey for us. They use advanced systems to safely process your data, guaranteeing it will never be shared with third parties. Your answers will be processed in a such a way that they cannot be traced back to you as an individual, nor will your manager or HR adviser be able to see your individual responses. So feel free to share your thoughts.
