Improve student well-being and develop your skills in these training courses
Student well-being is essential to good teaching and student success. All staff have a role to play, whether you are a lecturer or study adviser, or work in a supporting role. A range of free training courses are available to staff through the SEA Student Well-being programme.
Staff need to be alert to warning signs in students and know how to start a conversation and, if necessary, refer them to the help they need. By taking this training, you will help create a healthy learning environment while developing your own skills.
The following courses are running soon:
- 24 April: Student alcohol and substance use (in Dutch)
- 13 May: Identifying and acting on signs of mental health problems (in Dutch)
- 7 October: Suicide prevention training (in English)
