Got a clever idea of how to use AI in your work? Sign up for the AI Cocreation Lab
Taking and summarising notes, writing emails, manually creating citations, performing data analyses...
Do you ever dread working on that one recurring task? Or what about that challenge you’re dying to work on but never find the time to do? Can you think of ways AI might help? And could this benefit others too? Now is your chance: you and your team can submit a proposal to work on in the AI Cocreation Lab.
How the AI Cocreation Lab works
The lab can host up to seven teams with four to six members. You will meet three times to develop your plan into a prototype. Specialised colleagues and AI experts from AI Advies and Training consultancy will lead these meetings. The dates have already been scheduled: 20 May,10 June and 2 July, from 9:00 to 13:00. You will work on your project in between the three meetings and will be able to draw on your colleagues’ expertise.
Your proposal should offer a solution to a relevant and topical issue from your work, and other departments should also benefit from this. You and the other participants will be able to share experiences and help one another in a special Teams environment.
Submissions
Want to submit a proposal? Explain your idea in the application form. You have until 25 April 2025 to do so.
Think beforehand about your roles in the project team. Who will take on what role or task?
Jury and criteria
The jury will evaluate the proposals according to the following criteria:
- Relevance: How will the solution help people in their everyday work?
- Feasibility: To what extent can the AI solution be realised in three meetings? And to what extent can it be implemented afterwards?
- Expected impact: What will the AI solution deliver? This could be in terms of time or money saved, for example.
If the jury receives similar submissions, it will look at whether teams can be merged. You will hear by Tuesday 13 May which teams have been selected for the AI Cocreation Lab.
The AI Cocreation Lab is being organised as a follow-up to the AI workshops that are being held until the end of April (all the workshops are now full). The workshops and the labs are funded through the workload reduction fund.
