The Workplaces support team (WST) at FGGA
As of February 1, 2025, the Faculty of Governance and Global Affairs (FGGA) is introducing the Workplace Support Team (WST), a new initiative that supports employees after major work-related events.
Why is a WST necessary?
Major events in the workplace, such as a serious incident or calamity, can have a major impact on employees. The WST is there to offer support in such situations and to create space for processing and recovery.
How does the WST work?
A team of specially trained FGGA colleagues (WST members) is ready to support employees with up to three confidential conversations. If necessary, referrals are made to professional assistance.
How can you contact the WST?
The WST can be reached via the mailbox WST@fgga.leidenuniv.nl or via the HR department of FGGA. After contact, a WST member will get in touch within 24 hours to schedule an initial conversation.
