Help Promote the Humanities Labour Market Survey
The end of January saw the launch of the new Humanities Labour Market Survey. Everyone who graduated from the faculty between 2020 and 2024 has received an invitation to participate. The more responses we receive, the better we can inform our (prospective) students, so we need your help to increase the response rate!
PR Package
All programme chairs, study advisers, and student and alumni associations have received a PR package with photos and promotional texts for social media. It would be great if this could be shared on your programme channels. It also helps if staff members share this on LinkedIn as they often remain in contact with young alumni.
If you have not received this package or have any questions, please let us know. You can send an email to Samantha Zohlandt via s.k.zohlandt@hum.leidenuniv.nl.
Better Alignment with the Labour Market
The results of the survey help us prepare (prospective) students better for the labour market. We use the current insights and figures during Open Days and Career Service activities, update our websites, and work with the programmes to ensure our education aligns even better with the labour market.
The labour market survey also provides us with valuable insights for the coming years for each programme (cluster), on which we can base future faculty policies. Information on career prospects is also included in programme audits.
The results of the survey are expected at the end of May 2025.
