Do not use WhatsApp for business messages
Many colleagues and teams still frequently use WhatsApp for internal business communication.
Since WhatsApp's launch in 2009, much has changed, and not for the better in terms of confidentiality. WhatsApp has since been acquired by Meta (Facebook, Instagram). Fortunately, safer alternatives have become available in the meantime.
Therefore, the urgent request is: do not use WhatsApp for any business purposes. The same applies to Telegram.
We prefer to use MS Teams.
If MS Teams is really insufficient, we recommend using the free messaging service Signal te gebruiken.
Do not share more information on Signal than necessary, especially when it involves personal data or other sensitive information.
The toolpicker provides more information on this.
The following image shows the key differences between Signal and WhatsApp:

Several colleagues are now using Signal with satisfaction.
By using MS Teams (and, if necessary, Signal), we aim to discontinue the use of WhatsApp for our business communication.
