Visitor registration Wijnhaven with QR code: simple and secure
From 3 February, a pilot will start for FGGA staff to organise the registration of meeting visitors simply and securely via a QR registration system. During the month of February, this will only be required for visitors at Wijnhaven. From 1 March, this will apply to all locations in The Hague. We are conducting this pilot in collaboration with the UFB, and the pilot will be evaluated in July. Based on the results, it will be decided whether this registration system will be implemented across the entire university. This registration procedure is linked to LU card checks. If no LU card checks take place, you do not need to register visitors.
You can register visitors yourself via the tile in the top right corner of the staff site. You fill in the date and time of the meeting, the visitor’s name, and their email address. The visitor will immediately receive a QR code. This QR code will be scanned upon arrival at the reception desk. The receptionist will then contact you to inform you that your visitor has arrived. This registration system is only accessible to staff and complies with all privacy guidelines. In addition to this new registration system for meetings, a version has long been available for events with external guests. If you have any questions or comments, please contact Victor Koppelmans.
