Virtual reality in education and research: learn more at the Immersive Tech Day

16 January 2025

Are you working with, or simply curious about, immersive technologies (Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, and Mixed Reality) and their potential within education and research? Would you like to hear more about tangible examples and opportunities here at Leiden University and beyond? If so, make sure you don’t miss LLInC’s upcoming Immersive Tech Day!

The event, titled ‘Expanding Horizons’, is for PhD students and all staff of Leiden University. It will take place in the Sylvius building in Leiden on Thursday 30 January. Here, you will have the chance to hear from and speak with many colleagues, as well as representatives from NpulsSURFLurisUna Europa, and the Media & Learning Association.

The event will showcase some of the most innovative work taking place across Leiden University and within the Dutch education sector, as well as, crucially, spotlighting several opportunities when it comes to community, support, facilities, and funding for innovative projects and technologies.
