What is your opinion on the design of the teaching spaces? Share your wishes!
Leiden University has launched the ‘Cookbook Educational Spaces project’. For this project, we would like to make an inventory of which teaching methods lecturers currently use and which are desirable, but not possible at the moment due to limitations in the space(s).
Therefore, we would like to ask you to answer 6 short questions via this survey (+/- 5 min). Your input will make a valuable contribution to drawing up guidelines for the design and technologies in the rooms, with the aim of improving teaching spaces.
If you are interested, we would also like to invite you to an inspiration session on 28 January.
Thank you in advance for your contribution!

More information about the Cookbook project
The aim of this project is to:
- Create more unity within the university for the different types of teaching spaces.
- Better match the design of the rooms to the teaching methods.
- Optimise the functionality and flexibility of teaching spaces.
- Draw up a clear document with all teaching spaces (the Cookbook) for all staff members.
Ultimate changes to the spaces will be made at natural moments. For example: when furniture is written off or when AV needs to be replaced.
