Are you working on research that will appeal to children aged 9 to 12, for instance because it is about them, plays a big role in their everyday life, fits with what they learn at school or relates to their world in any other way? Or have you completed such research in the past year? Submit it to the Klokhuis Science Prize 2025!

The annual Klokhuis Science Prize aims to familiarise a young and wide audience with scientific research in the Netherlands. An episode of the children’s TV programme Het Klokhuis will be made and broadcast about the subject of the winning project: a fun way to bring your research to the attention of children and young people.

Do note that for your research project to be eligible for the prize, at least one of the researchers involved must speak Dutch.
