Van Steenis building closed on Saturday November 2
The Van Steenis building will be closed to everyone (including people with weekend access authorisation) on Saturday November 2 due to a network change.
On November 2, the following will apply:
- Limited network traffic: During the specified period, there will be limited to no network traffic to and from the Van Steenis building.
- No access to the building: Both the building management system and the access control system will be migrated during these operations. As a result, the building will not be accessible during the work. Once testing is completed, the building will be reopened.
- IP address changes: Some of the IP addresses in the building will change:
- Dynamic IP addresses: PCs and workstations that are normally assigned dynamic IP addresses will not be affected by the change.
- Static/reserved IP addresses: PCs with a static or reserved IP address may lose their network connection. Restarting the PC will resolve this issue in most cases.
If the network connection is not restored after a restart, please contact the ISSC helpdesk from Monday onward.
