New meetups AI @ Leiden University
Generative AI (GAI) is here to stay. That means we will need to learn how to teach in a world with GAI. In the past year, much has been said and published on how not to use GAI, but the question remains: how can you integrate GAI in your teaching in a way that is beneficial to you and/or your students? To this end ECOLe (FGW), FLO (FGGA), SEEDS (FWN), and SOLO (FSW) are joining forces to organise bi-monthly AI meetups where teachers will share good practices, discuss their experience with AI in their teaching or present their research on AI in education.
FSW will kick off this meetup series on November 21 from 16:00 to 17:00 in the Living Lab at the Pieter de la Court building. Our first speaker will be Francesco Walker, associate professor at the department of Cognitive Psychology. He will share how he uses AI in education and discuss his recent publication on his research into student trust in ChatGPT.
