[update] Your pension explained: join the ABP presentations for international staff

If you receive a salary from Leiden University, you automatically accrue a pension with Algemeen Burgerlijk Pensioenfonds (ABP). Generally, ABP pension information is only available in Dutch. That is why ABP offers English pension information sessions.
The upcoming sessions will cover questions such as how your pension is accrued, whether you can retire sooner (or later), what extra pension is and how ‘mijn ABP’ works.
Programme
In addition to the general information about the ABP pension scheme, the following topics will be discussed:
- Value transfer (International transfer)
- Extra deposits (ABP Extra Pension)
- What if I leave the Netherlands?
- 30% rule
Date and time
The online information sessions will take place on Tuesday 8 October and Wednesday November 6. The meeting starts at 15.00 and ends no later than 16.30.
