How can we best showcase our research and teaching? Share your ideas with us until 23 September
How can Leiden University best showcase our research and teaching? We welcome your opinions, even if this is a question you have never considered before. Your knowledge of the organisation and perspective on developments in science and society will help us choose the themes that will allow us to tell our story to the outside world.
Each employee has received a unique code and the link to the consultation via a personal email.
Greater visibility means more opportunities
We are proud of our research and teaching, and the thousands of researchers, students and faculty and support staff who work on these every day. It is important that the public, civil society organisations, politicians, leaders and industry see the value of this research and teaching. This will increase our opportunities to help resolve society’s issues, participate in research projects and prepare students for their future role in society. As a university, we therefore want to present ourselves to the outside world: to show our strengths and explain what sets us apart.
Your opinion counts
In our online consultation, we are asking for your input on various knowledge domains and associated themes. This list was carefully compiled after consulting academic staff, heads of research, faculty leaders, communications staff and policy advisers. Now it’s your turn. The consultation will take some time to complete: 20 minutes for one and 45 minutes for all knowledge domains. We are asking this of you because we value your input and feedback and take it seriously. Our community, with its breadth of perspectives, will help us build a richer and stronger profile. Join us in shaping the future of our university.
