Knowledge Café Interdisciplinary Learning for all staff (Friday 11 October)
Many higher education programs include multi-, inter-, or transdisciplinary learning. These ways of learning enable collaboration between students from different disciplines and provide students with skills to solve contemporary wicked problems. Additionally, interdisciplinary learning can help develop new knowledge, and enhance student motivation.
Interdisciplinary learning can be a valuable learning experience for students, if they participate in well-designed education. How can teachers, educational designers or other university employees support students during this education?
On Friday 11 October from 15.00 to 17.00 hrs, the Leiden University Graduate School of Teaching (ICLON) In collaboration with Leiden Teachers’ Academy and Young Academy Leiden will organise a knowledge café to share the findings from the education research literature and personal experiences. The café will be held in PLNT.
