Apply for the Dutch subsidy for Virtual International Collaboration (VIS)
In a Virtual International Cooperation Project (VIS), Dutch and foreign students work together remotely on a project that links local issues to an international perspective.
If you are a lecturer or educationalist and you are interested in developing a VIS project, you can submit a grant application until 16 September 2024. If your project proposal is approved, the University will receive €15.000 from the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport to free up your schedule to give you time for developing the project.
How to apply
- Get written permission from your institute/supervisor and the director of studies.
- Fill in the application form. Please note that all questions must be answered in Dutch.
- Send the form together with the written permission to Ivo Bles, Education Grant Officer at the International Relations Office, at edugrants@sea.leidenuniv.nl by Monday 16 September 2024.
- Applications will be assessed in order of receipt. The sooner you apply, the greater your chance of being awarded the grant.
