Improved curriculum for the bachelor’s degree in Criminology

3 July 2024

Improvements are to be made to the bachelor’s degree in Criminology as of academic year 2025-2026. The new bachelor’s curriculum will prepare students even better for the job market. This will be achieved by a clearer focus on criminologists in the law courses, through the new courses Drugs & Undermining and Imprisonment & Rehabilitation and by adding skills labs to the curriculum, including attention for inner development. Besides these improvements, students will also have 30 EC in elective credits to use for minors. The Faculty Board has approved these plans and the new curriculum will be introduced in stages from September 2025.
