Windows 11 is coming to The Hague: migration laptops and desktops from the end of June
Leiden University is switching to Windows 11 as the standard operating system for all managed staff Windows workplaces. From 24 June to 26 July 2024, a team from the ISSC will be present at the Wijnhaven building, rooms 3.08A and 3.08B, to install the operating system on all devices (desktops and laptops). This applies to devices from 2020 or newer, which have the Windows 10 operating system (not MacBooks).
Every staff member with a managed Windows laptop will soon receive an invitation and a link to make an appointment for the migration.
If you work on a desktop, arrangements will be made with your Head of Department or Institute Coordinator for the date of the upgrade.
