The time has finally come! You can now sign up for Leiden Law School’s Summer Festival 2024 at the University Sports Centre (USC) in Leiden. All faculty staff and student assistants are invited to this free event, which will take place on Thursday 4 July from 15.30 to 22.00. Registration is now open!

A day of fun and relaxation
For one day only, the USC will be transformed into a fun, vibrant Summer Festival. In true festival style, there will be food trucks, cosy seating areas, picnic benches, music, drinks and delicious snacks. It will be a day to remember!

Activities for all
Before the festivities begin, there are lots of indoor and outdoor activities that you can join in with at the USC. There’s something for everyone:

• Relaxing indoor activities: join a pub quiz, invigorating brain training session or energising yoga workshop.
• Active outdoor sports and games: enjoy an hour of beach volleyball, korfball, lacrosse, boules and other sports activities.

This year's Summer Festival is a free event! You have until 28 June 2024 to sign up. There's no registration fee, but do make sure you select the activities you want to participate in. Please note that if you sign up for this event, we do expect you to come. We will organise the activities and buy the food and drinks based on the number of people who have signed up. You'll get five drinks tokens, and there will be lots of activities, tasty snacks, a delicious dinner buffet and dessert.

Directions and parking
University Sports Centre (USC)
Einsteinweg 6 in Leiden

The University Sports Centre’s main building is located at Einsteinweg 6, 2333 CC in Leiden. Please note that cars currently have limited access to Einsteinweg due to construction work. The easiest way to access to the building by bike or on foot is currently via Ehrenfestweg.

By car
Visiting the USC by car? Parking on our premises is only permitted for sports instructors and individuals with disabilities. We recommend using the Ehrenfest Parking Garage (Ehrenfestweg 1, 2333 CC Leiden), which is next to the USC. This multi-storey car park is across the road from the USC’s main building.

By bus from Leiden Centraal station
Several bus lines will take you from Leiden Centraal station to the USC’s main building. Nearby bus stops unaffected by the construction include 'Gorlaeus Laboratorium', 'Wassenaarseweg/Corpus' and 'Bio Science Park-Oost'. By bike
You should be able to access our premises via Ehrenfestweg. There is plenty of space to park your bike in our bike shelter. Please refer to the attached map for the specific location.
