Fewer cigarette butts at the faculty thanks to the Bin Your Butt campaign

19 June 2024

On 24 May, the Bin Your Butt campaign was launched to combat cigarette butt pollution at the KOG Building. The campaign encourages smokers to throw their used cigarette butts into one of the voting bins rather than on the ground.

Since the launch, very few cigarette butts have been found on the ground around the KOG Building. People are making good use of the voting bins. The questions on the bins change every two weeks. Got a fun suggestion for a question? Send us your suggestions for challenging, non-scientific questions and who knows ... it might just be the next butt-kicker!
