In May 2024 an outline agreement was published by four political parties that are currently in the lead to form the Dutch government. The policies stated in this agreement, if executed, will affect the institutions of Higher Education in the Netherlands, as well as their students.

Though the consequences of the intended decisions remain to be unclear, the Faculty Board, and Leiden University overall, keeps a close watch on the developments and will keep you up to date on the political process in regard to the policies that will affect Higher Education.
