These are the new student members of our Faculty Council
During the University Elections 2024, the Faculty of Science not only voted for the new University Council, students could also vote for the new student members of the Faculty Council (FC). The Party for Beta and Medical Students (PBMS) was the big winner. With 87.6% of the votes, they won six out of seven seats.
The PBMS shares its place in the Faculty Council with DSP-SC, who secured one seat. This year, at the Faculty of Science, you could only vote for student parties. Next year, we will also choose seven new staff members. Students are elected for one year, employees for two years.

The new student members of the Faculty Council of Science are:
- Darcy Reynolds (PBMS)
- Sander van Zon (PBMS)
- Jelle Oonk (PBMS)
- Harshit Khandelwal (PBMS)
- Nadine Potters (PBMS)
- Mark Tadema (PBMS)
- Jason Hart (DSP-SC)
Two elected members, Femke Spaargaren (PBMS) and the current chair of the FC Anastacia Peters (PBMS), have also secured a seat in the University Council. Therefore, they have relinquished their seats in the FC.
