Windows 11 is coming: migration Van Steenis laptops and desktops in April
Leiden University is switching to Windows 11 as the standard operating system for all managed desktops and laptops. In April 2024, the ISSC will start with the migration of laptops in the Van Steenis building. This applies to the devices of all Archaeology staff and Institute of Environmental Sciences (CML) staff, and some University Services Department (UFB) staff workplaces. Later in the month, the desktops will be migrated.
In the course of the week of the 18th of March, every staff member who uses a laptop will receive an invitation and a link to register for the upgrade.
