KNIR Calls March 2024
We would like to inform you about the following career opportunities at the Royal Dutch Institute in Rome. The Visiting Professor program and the Colloquia are open to employees from all faculties and disciplines who, in terms of resources or expertise, would benefit from a stay in Rome. This also applies to the fair stays for students and researchers, for research into antiquity to the present, from the Forum Romanum to Cinecittà .
Opportunities at KNIR
KNIR Colloquia are three-day workshops with up to 15 (international) participants, intended for assistant professors and PhD teachers who have little time for research. The intensive format and setting at the institute in Rome help to boost their research profile and network. The deadline for applications is May 1st.
NWIB Visiting Professors Programme 2024/2025
Visiting Professors can stay at the institute in Rome for three months to make use of the research facilities and the international research network. The program is open to assistant professors, associate professors and professors. The deadline for applications is April 1st.
Here you will find the diverse, interdisciplinary education programme at BA, (R)MA, PhD level, and the grant programme for students, PhD students and postdocs to conduct research at the institute, with a deadline of May 15.
Artist in Residence in Rome 2024/25
The opportunity to nominate artists for a three-month residency at the institute. This is a collaboration between the Academy of Arts (KNAW) and the KNIR. Registration for this closes on April 8, everyone can nominate (except the artists themselves).
