Announcement new Academic Directors
Following a thorough and careful procedure, the Faculty Board is delighted to announce the appointment of two new Academic Directors at two institutes within our faculty.
Professor Jean-Pierre van der Rest has been appointed Academic Director of the Institute of Tax Law and Economics. Having already held the position on an interim basis, we are pleased that Jean-Pierre has now agreed to take on the role of Academic Director on a permanent basis.
Professor Jeroen ten Voorde is the new Academic Director of the Institute of Criminal Law and Criminology, succeeding Professor Jan Crijns. The Faculty Board is very grateful to Professor Jan Crijns for his hard work and dedication to the position of academic director over the past few years.
We are also pleased to announce that Professor Miranda Boone is taking on the role of Programme Coordinator of the Criminal Justice research programme.
The Faculty Board would like to congratulate Jean-Pierre van der Rest, Jeroen ten Voorde and Miranda Boone on their new positions.
We are confident that – in collaboration with the academic directors, department heads and all other staff – we can help the institutes and the faculty as a whole to progress.
On behalf of the Faculty Board,
Suzan Stoter, Dean
