Help increase your faculty’s NSE response rate
In the past few weeks, the students from your faculty were asked to complete the National Student Survey (NSE). Their feedback is used to improve degree programmes and student facilities.
In the week of 12 February, we want to bring the NSE to our students’ attention. We will be doing this in different ways, and lecturers can help too: simply show this slide during your classes.
Leiden University Fund
By filling in the NSE, students are not only helping improve their degree programme, but are also supporting a Liveable Planet research project. For each completed survey, the University donates €0,25 to the Leiden University’s field research project on the spread of invasive water plants and mosquitoes in the Netherlands due to climate change.
NSE contributes to teaching quality
The quality of our degree programmes is continuously monitored. This is done both by staff from the degree programmes and faculties (internal quality assurance) and by external experts (external quality assurance). The results of the checks help the University to further improve its degree programmes. Teaching evaluations like the annual NSE are part of this.
