PhD and interested in Europe? Sign up for the Europaeum Scholars Programme
Are you a PhD candidate in the humanities or social sciences? And are you researching developments in Europe? Then the Europaeum Scholars Programme might be for you.
This training programme allows PhD candidates to connect with the world of policymakers. As well as gaining insight into the complexities of this, they will learn to work as a team: the ‘Scholars’ form a multidisciplinary network in which they can share their knowledge and expertise and use them for the future of Europe.
The programme lasts two years and consists of eight modules that researchers take during their PhD, with presentations and training by academics and experts in the field. There are also visits to international institutions and an opportunity to talk with policymakers. Meanwhile, the PhD candidates work on their own project (related to European policy) which they also complete during the programme.
Information session
Would you like to find out more? An online information session will be held at 16.00 on 1, 6 and 7 November.
The deadline for the Europaeum Scholars Programme is 26 November 2023.
