FLO Training sessions

As you are busy preparing for the new academic year, we at FLO want to ensure that you get the right support to have a smooth start. Therefore, starting in the week of 21st August, we will be organising several training sessions.
The sessions are open to all staff members (academic and non-academic).

24 August 'Hybrid Teaching'

Together with the audiovisual department, the technical possibilities of the room are explained. Additionally, participants also get didactic knowledge to facilitate hybrid education easily.

The learning goals are:
• Didactic knowledge for hybrid education
• Technical knowledge of the equipment in the rooms to conduct hybrid meetings/education

29 August 'Media in education: practical advice and useful resources'

With this training, you can get acquainted with media solutions for education at FGGA. The video coordinator at FLO will demonstrate the practical skills needed for recording knowledge clips and what to anticipate during the four phases of media creation (designing, developing, producing and implementing). The training will also explore the resources available for creating (muti-)media formats.

Creating awareness of media usage by:
• Learning 'How to record a knowledge clip?'

• Learning 'How can students submit multimedia assignments?' and more.

Future Learning Office

The Future Learning Office (FLO team) supports the use of ICT systems and tools in education within this faculty. FLO is, among other things, the first point of contact for Brightspace and is responsible for the Weblectures in the lecture halls.
