On 11 July, a new website - Libyan Law and Society - will be launched. This website is the fruit of a long-standing academic cooperation between Benghazi’s Centre for Law and Society Studies and Leiden’s Van Vollenhoven Institute for Law, Governance and Society. The website features research publications, opinions, and a legal archive. During the launch there will be a brief explanation of its main objective and functions, some initial reactions, and an invitation to the audience to contribute ideas, questions, and comments. The launch will take place both online and at the Van Vollenhoven Institute.
