Lecture Hall Building closed from 26 June till 30 August 2023
From Monday 26 June to Wednesday 30 August 2023, the Lecture Hall Building will be closed. During this period, modernisation of the Lecture Hall Building will continue.
New facade
In the the past period, the old entrance and management wing were removed. The space created enables the installation of the last four conservatories. In the basement, the air treatment units have been converted so that they can now be connected to the ATES (Aquifer Thermal Energy Storage) installation of the Gorlaeus building.
During the closure of the Lecture Hall Building, the new façade will continue to be finished on the inside. The air handling units will also be adjusted.
Bicycle storage
In the former Gorlaeus high-rise, which is being transformed into a bicycle shed, the main core and ground floor will be removed in the coming weeks. In late August/early September, construction of the bike storage will start so that it can be in use in 2024.
