Artificial intelligence (AI) is the intelligence that allows machines, software and devices to make choices independently. In late 2022, OpenAI launched the chatbot ChatGPT. ChatGPT's applications has created a hype that is keeping many people in education occupied.
What can AI in general and ChatGPT in particular mean for education? What are the opportunities and limitations of this form of artificial intelligence?
