This year, the Leiden University Fund will award two LUF Impulse Grants for interfaculty research or education projects. The grant is max. €150,000. The Faculty may submit two applications, a pre-selection will take place.

The LUF Impulse Grants (deadline: 3 July 2023) support projects in which researchers from different disciplines collaborate to jointly examine and solve complex, societal issues. Both interfaculty research and education projects may be submitted.

Conditions

• Researchers from at least two faculties should be involved in the project;
• Applicants must be employed by Leiden University;
• Applicants may not be involved in more than one project;
• Applications may not be submitted to more than one faculty.

Procedure

The Faculty may submit two applications. There will be a pre-selection (March-April 2023). Applicants, who have been selected, submit their full project plan themselves.
