Leiden Law School to continue for now with Annual Interview
Now the pilot stage of the proposed new format for the Annual Interview (formerly known as the P&D interview) has officially ended, a thorough evaluation is to be held. In the meantime, staff and supervisors can continue with the new-style Annual Interview. All necessary information, forms (Annual Report and Interview Report) and support materials (checklists and interview cards) are available via Performance and Development Interview - Leiden University (universiteitleiden.nl).
Continue or not
The pilot project group will conduct the evaluation via focus groups and using a questionnaire recently sent to all staff. The HR department will use the outcomes from the evaluation to pass on its recommendations to the Faculty Board about whether or not to continue with this new style of interview. The most important outcomes will also be shared with co-participation bodies such as the Faculty Council.
All Leiden University staff
The outcomes from the evaluation will be used to decide what improvements need to be made to the forms and support materials for the Annual Interview. We have noticed that there is interest about the pilot within the University and several faculties are also keen to start a pilot. Leiden University will use our results and those from other pilots to arrive at a desired form of dialogue which ultimately all staff will start using for the annual interview.
