Currently the ISSC is executing an operation that involves replacing desktops for screens with docking stations. These docking stations will make it easier for you to work with your Leiden University laptop at the Faculty, thus enabling a smooth transition between working from home and at the office, or vice versa. The operation is most likely concluded mid-February.

This means that the standard desktop will disappear. All desktops with an irregular setup (semi-managed, linked to microscopes, etc.) have been inventoried by the ISSC and the management assistants of the departments. Those will be left alone.

All data that is stored on the J: and P: disks will be available on your laptop.
