Make an ORCID and register this in LUCRIS
ORCID is an international system for persistent and unambiguous identification of academic authors. With an ORCID you will be able to improve the visibility of your research output. Leiden University asks all researchers to create an ORCID (Open Researcher and Contributor Identifier). It is important to also register this ORCID identifier in LUCRIS.
If you do not yet have an ORCID identification number, Leiden University, asks you to create an ORCID and to register this number in LUCRIS. Create your ORCID now. This process should not take more than 5 minutes of your time. To register your ORCID in LUCRIS, you follow the instructions in this short manual (pages 1-2) or in this video tutorial.
If you have any questions or if you need help, you can contact Library staff via 'Ask a Librarian'.
