Results Personnel Monitor 2022 known: what's next?
Through the Personnel Monitor 2022, 57% of FSW employees expressed how the faculty is doing in terms of work satisfaction. The purpose of the Personnel Monitor is to get a picture of where colleagues are satisfied and where there is still more work to do. The Faculty Board appreciates that, despite the perceived high workload, they expressed how they experience the university as an employer. This input provides valuable insights and is the starting point of the ensuing dialogue on the significantly higher and lower scores.
Subsequent steps
In early 2023, the Faculty Board will firstly meet with the Institute Boards to hear whether they recognise their institute in the picture emerging from the Personnel Monitor 2022. The Faculty Board will also engage with the employee section of the Faculty Council about the faculty profile that emerges.
In addition to discussions between boards and with the employee participation body, it is important to engage in dialogue within each team as well. Listening to each other's perspective on the organisation and everyone's role in it is helpful in understanding why one thing goes well and why another could do better:
- What stands out?
- What needs attention?
- What changes does the team like to bring about and what steps are needed to achieve this?
- What can the team do itself and what do others need to do?
