LTC Lunchbyte: Professional training for teachers of tutorials
On Thursday 3 November, the second lunchbyte of the year will be held from 12.00 – 13.00 hours. During the lunchbyte, we will zoom in on the tutorials or working groups on offer at the Faculty. What things would teachers of tutorials, who are often just starting out in a teaching position, like to learn and how can we provide this for them?
Ghislaine Voogd from the LTC will give a short presentation on a training course she developed last year that will be offered as part of several courses. The training course has been specifically created to provide teachers of tutorials with tools to create an active class environment. So far, the course has been well received. Teacher Michael Klos has been invited to talk about his experiences with the training course provided for the teachers of tutorials in the Methodology course at Leiden Law Faculty.
All students and staff members of Leiden Law School are welcome to attend the lunchbyte.
The lunchbyte will be held in KOG B.014 and can also be attended online via the LTC | Learning and Teaching Community in MS Teams. A vegetarian lunch will be provided.
