Street parking in Leiden city centre: changes from 13 June
As of 13 June, the Municipality of Leiden has changed its parking policy for the centre of Leiden. Street parking is now restricted to permit holders.
Alderman Ashley North (traffic) hopes this new measure will reduce traffic in the city centre. What does this mean for staff and visitors to Leiden University? Visitors can park in the municipal garages, at Garenmarkt or Lammermarkt, for example.
If you work at the University, you can take out a parking subscription for our garages. A monthly subscription will cost € 15.50 incl. VAT and an annual subscription € 155 incl. VAT. To take out a subscription, please go to the Service Portal.
