Who is the Summer School for?
Summer School Junior is for children who are currently in years 6 to 8 of primary school. Children who will enter year 6 after the summer cannot participate. A total of 32 children can take part in the Summer School. No exceptions will be made.
Summer School Junior programme
For four whole days, the children will discover the fascinating world of science and research. They will do so at a beautiful location in the centre of Leiden, the P.J. Veth building, and will also visit places like the Hortus Botanicus and the National Museum of Antiquities. Over these four days, they will enjoy a well-organised and educational programme.
Fees and registration
Summer School Junior costs 150 euros per child. On registration, you will automatically receive a link to pay the fee via iDeal. Attendance is confirmed once payment has been received. The fee includes the cost of tickets, materials and soft drinks. Children should bring their own lunch.
To sign your child up, please use the online registration form. If the maximum number of participants has been reached, you can add your child’s name to the waiting list at wetenschapsknooppunt@iclon.leidenuniv.nl.
