Construction of alternative Humanities Campus is feasible
The executive committee of the municipality of Leiden discussed the progress of the Humanities Campus on Tuesday 10 May. The discussion was prompted by the conclusion that the Humanities Campus can be constructed on a smaller plot of land than was originally intended, since the ground of the Doelen complex will not be available. This conclusion has emerged from a feasibility study. An article has been published about this today.
Before the summer, decisions have to be taken about how the institutes, departments, service units and partners will be distributed over the buildings of the Humanities Campus.
