The Social Resilience & Security (SRS) research programme, one of the interdisciplinary programmes launched at Leiden University, aims to make society more resilient and secure for all. Within the programme, researchers from across the Social Sciences, Governance and Global Affairs, Law, Archaeology, and Humanities work together. The team focuses on the following three research streams: Adolescent risk and Resilience, Uncertainty and Violence in Society. Besides the interdisciplinary research approach, the programme builds a bridge between research and society by teaming up with youth panels and public sectors.
To further transect disciplinary boundaries, researchers across all disciplines are invited to get affiliated with the programme.
