In memoriam: Thijmen Nuninga
Our valued colleague Thijmen Nuninga passed away last week. Until recently, Thijmen had worked at the Institute of Private Law as a PhD candidate. His thesis had been approved and he had just started a new adventure as a lawyer.
His death has come as a huge shock to us.
We remember Thijmen as an inspired legal scholar with a highly intelligent and creative mind. Though still young, his work had already been recognised and rewarded. He frequently took the lead in discussions and was an extremely amiable and dedicated colleague.
We wish Thijmen’s family and loved ones much strength in facing this great loss.
